Historic wisteria vines

The admission to this garden is high at ¥1000, but if you’re really crazy about flowers, it’s worth it. Just be sure to watch the weather and time your trip around the Golden Week holiday when these flowers put on a show. The garden opens around April 20th, and closes when the blooms finish at the end of the first week of May each year. The vines are said to be 12 centuries old, and there are many varieties and colors on display.
