Hearty ramen
Ramen Daiji is located in the Joetsu area of Niigata Prefecture, and it's a great place to stop into if you're after a really hearty, warming bowl of ramen. The chashu is amazing, melt in your mouth kind of stuff, and I'd highly recommend getting their signature bowl which is 1000 yen but comes topped with it. Super filling, so come hungry! Only seats about 12 people so keep that in mind as well.
