The frog shrine
Dozens of frogs await at the Mizumiya Shrine in Fujimi. Not real frogs, although I'm sure you'll find some of them too in this somewhat rural area. But these frogs are stone frog statues. You'll find frogs in various poses and even a frog holding a fish, as pictured, which is a Komainu, a protector of the shrine. They are usually a type of lion dog. The shrine is not particularly big, but it is photogenic.
