Craft workshops and cafe

On the east side of Odawara Castle is a plaza with the performing arts hall and the Tourism Exchange Center, both modern glass and concrete buildings. On weekends, the center is packed with families as the center has a cafeteria-style dining area and workshop tables for crafts such as making plastic food samples and designing wooden ornaments. I had assumed that the name of the center indicates tourism information, but that's not the focus. It's more of a community center open to visitors with lots of events. In the plaza on weekends, you can catch family entertainment. I saw an acrobatic ninja show while I was there.
