Great Place for Ultraman Fans
Immediately after opening the door to this place, you’re already hit with the world of giant Ultraman monsters. Right by the entrance is a giant face that you can stick your hand into. I don’t know anything about Ultraman lore but this face is an interactive installation that lights up when you put your hand into its mouth. The inside of the restaurant is dimly lit, but it works in its favour. All over the place are Ultraman monster decorations, from posters to figure, making sure you don’t forget what the theme is. But this is a restaurant, after all. The main attraction is the food! Each dish is nicely plated, formed in such a way that it at least resembles the towering monsters of Ultraman. On the menu you are shown pictures of the monsters they are supposed to represent, and I think the restaurant does a good job of interpreting the monsters into the edible medium. The food tasted great as well. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, even for someone who doesn’t know anything about Ultraman. I can only imagine the enjoyment from a real fan.
