Vegetable Friends' Farm is a picking farm beside Fukaya Hanazono Premium Outlets. Unlike most other picking farms where you pick just one fruit or vegetable within a time frame, here you pick by vegetable. So, for example, you can dig / pick the ingredients you need for tonight's dinner! You pay by the vegetable, on average about 150 to 200 yen. Which isn't that much more expensive than a supermarket, but you get the pleasure of digging or picking the vegetable yourself! It is a fantastic idea and I would love to see more of these type of picking farms.
