Recommended for wisteria and good fortune
The founding of this shrine is lost in time, but it's suggested that this one dates back to the Heian era. It's a spot that drew samurai to dedicate swords. I recommend approaching the shrine from the Motoara River where the shrine gate stands and you can walk through a park to the shrine itself. The best time to go is in wisteria season at the end of April and into early May. The wisteria vines here are designated as a prefectural natural monument.
