Top 100 fall location
Fukiware Falls, often called the oriental Niagara Falls, are located in the Numata area of Gunma. The falls are 7 meters tall and 30 meters wide. My very first visit was in Autumn and it was particularly beautiful with colorful leaves in the area. Another reason Autumn is a good time to visit is because the area is famous for apple picking. If you like camping, Greenpark Fukiware is relatively close. You will also find a review for that campsite on City-cost.

Pretty waterfall in Gunma
Fukiware Falls is located in Gunma Prefecture, and it has been designated as one of Japan's Top 100 waterfalls. I visited here in conjunction with a trip to the Usaburo Kokeshi Factory, and it was a nice way to enjoy some of the prefecture's nature and culture at the same time. The falls are very scenic and I do think they're worth a visit when you're in the area.
