Honjo Park

Sakura spot with great playground

Honjo Park is a lovely spot for hanami with kids. There is a really nice playground for young children in the park. And the cherry blossoms line the perimeter of the playground. There is also an avenue of cherry blossoms near the playground. The park has several sporting facilities, even a baseball stadium. There is also a nice barbecue area in the park. It is in the shade of mature trees. The majority of the park is taken up by sporting facilities, but the area for family and leisure while not very big is nicely done. Free parking.
