Tsutaya closed in October 2023...
...and the Starbucks, too. It was one of my favorite meeting places and a great people-watching spot if you could get a seat at the window counters. The press about the closure says that Tsutaya folded its CD and DVD rentals and is moving to online only, so the whole Tsutaya-Starbucks closed. The reports in the media say that the location will be reopened in spring 2024, but no clear confirmation that Starbucks will return.

The one with the scramble view
The Starbucks Coffee at the Shibuya Tsutaya is one of the most famous, because it is the one that has a view of Shibuya Scramble (aka crossing aka Hachiko crossing). I love the window seats with aforementioned view. However, it is really hard to get one and I am not a fan of the rest of the seating area, so I get my coffee to go mostly. They have a decent selection of sandwiches and desserts, more than in my local branches anyway.

Fab for people watching
The Starbucks store at Shibuya Tsutaya has to be one of my favorite places in the city to people watch. It offers a great view out over the Shibuya Crossing area, and it's pleasant to just grab your drink and watch the world go by for a little while. Menu-wise it's the same as other Starbucks stores, but it's iconic for the view!

Iconic Starbucks coffee shop
It's famous so it always stays crowded. You can enjoy sipping your fav coffee while watching the iconic Shibuya scramble crossing. Also, you can get some really cool photos from the second floor. Drink, food and ambiance-wise, it's pretty typical Starbucks.
