Community cafe, play space, kitchen car plaza

Soraie, the residential area around Shimizu Koen Station has a plaza on the east side of the station. While the plaza's facilities are for the planned community residents, it's open to the general public. I stopped by for a cup of coffee in the warm wood interior of the cafe. There are wide work tables so you can take your time and chat. The cabin-like space also has a children's play corner with books for story time. The cafe doesn't offer much besides coffee and soft-serve ice cream most of the time, but a few times a month, residents do a lunch menu and the cafe invites kitchen cars.
