Charming 'brick street'
Renga Zaka Street, also known as 'Brick Street', is a really charming alley near Nakano station. It reminds me a little of Italy and the mini water fountain along the way and the Italian restaurants certainly adds to that Italian feel! Surprisingly, although Nakano is a vibrant area, this gorgeous alleyway doesn't seem to be that busy. Or maybe I was just lucky when I visited.

Cozy-feeling street, especially during the holiday period
Nakano's Rengazaka Street is a really cozy-feeling place for a stroll, especially around the holiday period. It's very close to Nakano Station's south exit, and there are tons of different options here to grab a bite to eat – everything from Japanese cuisine through to Thai, Italian, a couple of general "western" eateries, and even wine and sake bars if you're planning a night out. It's a nice alternative from some of the more well-traversed eating streets in Tokyo.
