Kirara Nishi Park

Loads of fun for kids!

Kirara Nishi Park is a sprawling park in Niigata's Nishi Ward, and it offers a ton of fun for kids. The play equipment includes slides, net-based climbing frames, bouncy pillows, and even pedal carts, so there are numerous ways to stay entertained. There are bathrooms on site, too. I would recommend autumn or spring for a visit here though, as during the height of summer it can be uncomfortably hot since there is minimal shade. I'd love to see some shade sails incorporated here so that it was nicer to visit even on sunny days.
