Sweet Onion is located in the Uonuma area of Niigata Prefecture, and the menu is focused around Western inspired food with a Japanese touch. There are numerous pizza and pasta dishes, hamburger steak, omu-rice, soups, curry rice, and more. There is also a comprehensive drinks menu which includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The vibe of the restaurant is fairly simple - it's not posh or anything, but it's a bit more than what you'd expect at your standard family restaurant. We liked the food, the prices were pretty reasonable, and parking is available right out the front which makes stopping in very easy.
