Farmer's market disguised as a roadside station!
We stopped off at Minano Roadside station assuming that - as the name implied - it was a typical roadside station. Its not! Its basically a farmer's market of sorts with a small seating area, a restaurant, toilets and vending machines. The place was booming. I couldn't get over the amount of people. And, although I can't say for sure, they seemed to be 90% locals. There is mainly fruit and vegetables, but also some meat and drinks and things you can buy in a regular supermarket. They also had some random things too, like pet beetles and fish! We didn't go into the restaurant, but it looked quite small. The car park is quite small for such a place. And the overflow was closed. Something about coronavirus...? Right at a crossroads so hard to get in an out too.
