Nice Place, Odd Flavours
The restaurant is well-decorated and the seating plan is nice and spacious. The lighting is bright enough to prevent a blind eating experience but dim enough to make the food look good even if it isn’t plated well. That said, during my visit, everything looked like they put the food on the plates intentionally and neatly. The staff were quite straightforward, so I have a feeling some customers would be turned off by the service. Several have visible tattoos as well, so that might explain the relatively empty seats during my visit. Despite this, I felt they were quite nice to interact with. Most of the food they served was quite good. However, I thought they over toasted the nachos a bit. The chips seemed seared a bit too much and felt thin as a result. They also had jalapeno tacos which didn’t actually taste like anything except spicy. I would have preferred a bit more sour or salty flavours in the tacos. Their quesadillas were amazing, though.
