Beachside breakfast spot

Kamogawa Station looks like a sleepy place when you step outside the station with only a shopping center on one side and a convenience store on the other. The beachfront, about 10 minutes on foot from the ticket gate, is where you find the eateries and cafes. The cafe, open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., serves coffee, sandwiches, fish and chips, and curry. The garden around has space for bicycle parking, pavilions to hang out on, and hitches to tie up dog leads. The cafe has counter seating, electrical outlets for charging devices, and free WIFI. I had a coffee and a chicken sandwich on a homemade English muffin. A bit dear at 900 yen for a sandwich but I could sit, chill, and recharge here.
