Bland Burrito

I don't wanna say this restaurant isn't good, but of course I wanted it to taste like Mexican food in Mexico. It tastes like Mexican food in Japan, as I should expect. They do have an English menu, though the Japanese part explains it better. I just got the regular bean burrito. It says it comes with rice, pinto beans, lettuce, cilantro and tomato salsa. There was no cilantro - which is my favorite topping. The burrito had weird undercooked beans that looked like black soy beans and pinto beans. It had no spice flavor at all until adding the salsa, and I had to use a lot to get it sorta spicy. The only other option to add spice was adding jalepenos to the order. The tortilla was really good and I ate the whole thing even though I didn't feel really hungry. Not bad, for a burrito in Japan. Actually affordable compared with similar restaurants. I think their deluxe versions (including sour cream, cheese, and avocado) with meat would be tastier but was reluctant to get one to go because I wasn't heading straight home. Not sure if I'd try it again.
