Natural ice rink

Kasa skate rink in Tokigawa town is a natural outdoor ice rink. As such, it is only open a couple of months of the year, usually from around the last week of December until mid February. It depends greatly on the weather. Until the kids start back to school in January (around January 10th) for the third term, the rink is open daily. After that it only opens on weekends until the last day of the season, which is announced on short notice on Twitter! There is a reception building where you can rent skates. You can also buy pot noodles there and there is a vending machine on the grounds. There are also toilets. There are about four different parking lots. However, as it is a very popular spot, it is not uncommon to have to wait for parking.
