Kominka cafe specializing in sweet potatoes

This kominka, or folk house, is tucked away in a residential area a 10-minute walk from Atago Station. It's a lovely place with an overgrown garden providing shade, wooden floors, retro furnishings in the dining area and variety shop. It feels like you're visiting someone's grandparents' house. The specialty here is sweet potatoes in dishes that reflect the seasons. On my visit, I had a yakiimo latte with a mild sweetness from the yakiimo. It's a relaxing spot to take a break. Note that the cafe is open from 1 to 6 pm. It's closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
