Ura Gozu Sanso is an accommodation spot in the Higashikambara area of Niigata, but you don't have to do an overnight stay there to enjoy what they have to offer. They have some amazing food on offer so you can absolutely just visit for lunch, and they have a focus on locally grown veggies, rice, and fish when it comes to the meals. The views are just incredible at this time of year, with the colorful autumn foliage able to be enjoyed from the windows. Would recommend it to anyone who likes eating local cuisine and appreciating good scenery at the same time!
