Cheap as (sweet potato) chips!

Hamachan has been around forever! It is well known among locals. For the longest time it was one of the places you could see some of Kawagoe's Styrofoam art - a Styrofoam monkey. But they moved it last year. Its a good place to pick up a simple coffee and some sweet potato chips.
