    Alright as a Stop-over

This donut shop is right on the eastbound platform of Nishi-Kokubunji station. It’s nice and convenient if you’re heading east on the Chuo line, but I think that’s such a niche target. If I stopped at this station and I was heading west, I would still need to go up an escalator, navigate the station, then come down onto the platform this shop is located on. However, this shop somehow still gets filled up, as it was at least 75% filled on my last visit. Now the main draw of this shop seems to be the Galaxy Donut, a multicoloured donut that adorns their signs. Each is about 220 yen. Unfortunately, I think they’re just a gimmick as the frosting is near tasteless. The donut itself is soft and chewy, almost like a fried mochi, which I didn’t quite enjoy. That last point isn’t exactly bad, it’s just not what I think a donut should be like. Their other donuts were pretty good though.
