Popular bakery you’ve got to get to early
This little bakery in central Noda City gets cleaned out of loaves very quickly. Their specialty is shokupan, Japanese style white milk bread. The texture is firm and the aroma heady. I rarely make it in time to get a loaf of bread here, but I often enjoy pastries and savory danishes. The one I savored with my lunch the other day was slathered with mentaiko and topped with cheese. The bread here is reasonably priced. Many items are about ¥100.
