Sukagawa Municipal Museum

Local history museum

The Sukagawa Municipal Museum is located within Midorigaoka Park. I personally found the museum mediocre, but supposedly they have a nice Hina Dolls display around the time of the Hina Matsuri. As it is all in Japanese you would want a good grip of the Japanese language to appreciate the information available. Some of the exhibits are visual though. When the Taimatsu Akashi festival (one of Japan's three main fire festivals) is on they let people into the museum for free.
