Asashina River

Great river play area

This stretch of the Asashina River, that runs between Gyokura no Sato Roadside Station and Hyogetsu-tei, is ideal for playing in the river on a hot day. The river is shallow in parts here and there is a river beach. It is slightly deeper in some parts, so children can even swim, but obviously you would need to take due caution. There are plenty of facilities in the roadside station that you can use. Such as sinks, toilets and drinking water fonts. In addition, there you can pick up drinks and some food. There is parking too.
