In some communties, 7-11 convenience stores are more than just places to get snacks, booze, coffee, and warm-up. The proprietor of the Koyocho 7-11 occasionally brings in novelty craft and import beers and spirits. Recently at this location I picked up Chiba Prefeture-related omiyage and products. The shop also brings in cheap produce - I got a pair of onions and a package of spinach for about 100 yen a piece. This price is competitive with local supermarkets that ask nearly double the price for the same quantity of produce. The tencho, the manager/proprietor, is friendly and spares a moment to talk with customers. It's on the Noda Prefectural Road 17 on your way to Shimizu Park. I recommend stopping here to get supplies for your park visit.
