Lovely Interior
The best thing about this restaurant is the interior. It’s busy enough to feel alive but well-put together such that it’s comfortable. There is an area where the overhead decor is a bit too low, so I hit my head standing up, but I’m going to chalk that up to Japanese sizing. This restaurant has a freshly grated cheese service with the pasta. When the pasta comes, the servers will grate cheese onto your food until you say stop. I liked this part, though it ultimately doesn’t change the pasta that much, in my opinion. It’s only a 3/5 for me because of the food. Yes, it hits the pasta fix, but something feels missing for the price they charge. Part of it is that it feels a bit small for a plate, but also the flavouring doesn’t seem very prominent without the cheese that is grated on. Perhaps that’s why they have that service.
