Jabuchino Falls

Steep walk to the falls but natural beauty awaits

Jabuchino Falls sits just over the Nagano side of the Nagano/Niigata border, and it's a nice outdoor spot that isn't crowded. There's a parking lot about 10 minutes walk from the falls themselves, but I would keep in mind any mobility issues you might have if you plan on visiting -- it is quite a steep walk despite the relatively quick duration. I have only visited here in summer but it's meant to be spectacular during autumn as well when all the leaves are changing.
