Authentic Turkish food and great hospitality
The dining map at the boutique hotel directed me to Fuga and I imagined it was a typical izakaya. However, when I opened the door, I was greeted by a huge foreign guy, the master. The master formerly ran a popular Turkish restaurant in Tokyo. I opted for the "Turkish gyoza", manti dumplings slathered in garlicky yogurt and olive oil with greens. It reminded me of minced meat dumplings my Ukrainian-born grandmother made. I'd say don't miss out on this izakaya for excellent Turkish food and a chat when you visit Tateyama City.
