Aquare Nagaoka

Onsen facility with overnight stays or daytime recreational use

Aquare Nagaoka is an onsen facility where you can stay overnight or just drop in for daytime use. There are two tiers for the daytime use: the hot spring course (it includes use of the sauna, indoor bath, and open-air bath) for 850 yen for adults or 450 yen for children, or the full course (includes use of the hot springs, pool, gym, and studio) for 1700 yen for adults or 900 yen for children. The pool here is quite spacious, with dedicated lap lanes and a children's play area, plus they also do free rental of things like kickboards, floating devices, and swimming caps. I will say the facility overall does have a bit of a dated feel, but everything was clean. I do wish the admission fees were cheaper, however. We wanted to use the pool so had to pay the higher rate, but didn't have a need for the gym or studio with kids in tow.
