Beautiful clear water pond

Ryugakubo Pond is a beautiful natural spot in the Tsunan area of Niigata, and it has picture-perfect clear water surrounded by greenery. It's a destination that is best reached by car, but if you are visiting via public transport you could still catch a cab from Tsunan Station - it's about 15 minutes away. Plentiful parking on site for several dozen vehicles. Keep in mind that the area is closed during the winter months because of the heavy snowfall the region receives.
