friendship and wine
Over the past 5 years, I gained friendship with Japanese students. These students have visited my home country (the Philippines) for internship. For me, travelling is very very important as a student. You have to enjoy and learn the things outside your university. With that, every Japanese students I have been with in my home country, I try my best to give them the best experience they can ever wish for. At the end of their internship they always say that 'it is the best time of their lives'. And I am always happy to hear those words. So last March 9 I reunited with my first Japanese friends (Tadashi and Hiroki) who became successful company men and both of them were already married. Tadashi's wife is also my friend. We visited this place because it is Tadashi's favorite place where he and his wife usually have a date. He said that the owner is his friend. At the moment I enter this place, I already knew why this place is his favorite - it is about the place and the owner. From the lighting to the wood furnitures you will feel at home at this place. The personality of the owner is really really friendly. The Alsace Paul Bruckert white wine served to us was really really delicious - it is sweet and smooth. We finished one bottle of it with the signature raisins of the shop. The combination of the wine and raisins adds up to the things we shared about. Five years of friendship with 4 years of rare communication is quite a long time and needs some time to catch up. But this place helps us to remember the good memories we have shared and make another good memory. Thank you Mr. Sugawara Akihiro for one remarkable night. See you again!
