Indoor petting zoo

Ikimono Tankentai opened in Papa Ageo last year. It is an indoor petting zoo of sorts. I really loved it, much to my own surprise. Its a great system. You pay 800 yen for the whole day and come and go as you please. There are a few animals you can hold unsupervised, such as hamsters and birds. There are others you need to have a staff member with you to hold, such as snakes and lizards. There are animals you can't hold, such as rabbits, but can pet. Or for an extra 100 yen you can feed them.
