Musashi Ranzan Hospital

All round excellent hospital

It is rare for a hospital to get more than 4 stars on Google reviews, but Musashi Ranzan hospital in Higashimatsuyama has a 4.5 rating. And it is well deserved rating in my humble opinion. I had an allergic reaction to a wasp sting while hiking in Tokigawa. It was by sheer luck that the nearest hospital Google maps directed me to was Ranzan Musashi. The staff were incredible. I was seen to and treated straight away. They were not only professional, but friendly in the non-invasive way. I felt very comfortable there. Apart from the excellent staff, the building is very pleasant and it has lots of services. It is a general hospital and they have an emergency night and off hours clinic. Within the building there is a eating area with a microwave so you can warm up food or heat a bottle. A vending machine and rubbish bins are outside the door. There is a baby room next to it with diaper changing and other facilities for people with babies. On the other side there is a small Yamazaki convenience store. Parking is free. Service is quick. Prices are affordable. All round: a great hospital.
