Great Place for Craft Beer and Pizza
Nakameguro Taproom is a bar owned by Baird Beer. It’s incredibly close to the station, and is quite packed at the usual times on weekend nights. However it’s not that hard of a place to get into usually. Baird Beer always has an exhaustive list of beers, both normally available and limited. I struggle to think of another place in Tokyo where you could get as much variety form one brewer. They offer tasting flights and have a good amount of sizes, though the price sometimes leans on the more expensive side. But I’d say that’s to be expected from any craft beer place. Just with the shear number of options they really seem to have a beer for practically everyone, I’ve even gone here with people who don’t like beer and they found something they wanted to try. The desserts also always seem interesting and worth a try, even if it’s a bad idea health wise. The only lack of variety you may run into is the food. It’s almost all pizza, sometimes the place only smells like pizza, and if you’re not in the mood for pizza or already incidentally are a sickening amount of cheese, it may get to be a bit much. Considering that’s something that you could plan for though, I wouldn’t really call it a deal-breaker.
