    Longstanding pottery store in Kappabashi

Komatsuya is a longstanding pottery store in Tokyo's famous Kappabashi kitchen district, with a history of around 120 years. They sell a wide variety of different porcelain products here, including things like Aritayaki so you don't have to make a trip all the way down to Saga Prefecture (although it is somewhere I'd highly recommend visiting at some point!) There is a lot to explore here but the aisles are a bit narrow in parts. It's also one of the more busy pottery shops in the Kappabashi area, probably owing to the history behind it, so factor that in as well if you plan on visiting. They take cash and card.
