Friendly staff and bicycle rental

The Minamiboso City Tourism Association is a 15-minute walk from Tomiura Station on the Uchibo Line. This was the first place on my itinerary when I visited the resort town as I wanted to pick up some maps and rent a bicycle here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave me tips on what to see and estimates of cycling times to various attractions around the southern end of the Boso Peninsula. The association has a few simple shopping bikes and electric-assist bicycles. I found that the electric assist bike had ample battery life on my five-hour ride.
