Grand but proportionate event space
International architect Vinoly designed this convention center in the late 1980s. It occupies the space that Tokyo city hall once did. It's got sweeping glass, a boat-like shape. It's easy enough to navigate for shops, events, and exhibitions. The space is used for Neo Yataimura Super Nights with food trucks and the Oedo Antique Market twice a month. Multi-purpose convention venue in Tokyo's Chiyoda ward
The Tokyo International Forum venue is a multi-purpose facility, and it hosts a variety of different events throughout the year -- everything from concerts and exhibitions to conferences and musicals. Location-wise it's super accessible via public transport, walkable in just a minute on foot from Yurakucho Station and about 5 minutes on foot from Tokyo Station. There are several parking lots at the venue if you do happen to come by car, but I personally think the stress-free nature of its public transport links makes better sense! It's a super cool building from an architectural standpoint, too, so if you just like interesting design it's worth stopping by.
