Riverside campsite with cabins

Waterpark Nagatoro is actually in Minano, but it is right beside Nagatoro. It is a campsite that has trailers and cabins too. It is normally open all year round, but it was closed until recently after sustaining severe damage during typhoon Hagibis in Autumn 2019. The campsite is right on the side of the Arakawa. Some of the tent sites are practically on the river! Waterpark Nagatoro also has a boat rides that non guests can pay to use too. In winter they usually have the kotatsu boats. There is also a popular fishing pond at the back of the campsite that non guests can pay to use. The cabins / trailers at this campsite are a little cheaper than others in the area. They are really good value if you visit out of season, which we have done in the past. The tent sites are quite good value.
