Nishiya is situated inside the building where you check in for your drift ice trip, and has a range of different ramen types to choose from. Their most famous is loaded with seafood, but even if you’re not a huge fan of all things fishy, there are options for you to choose from. One of the most pleasant things about dining here is the view you get - you can see the drift ice from your window seat in the winter, and the Garinko II ice breaker ship heading out and returning from its’ journeys. It really is a nice spot to enjoy a bite to eat and watch the world go by for a little while! Prices are pretty standard for a bowl of ramen, around 700-900 yen depending on what type you get.
