One note meal

It is getting harder and harder to find a sit-in restaurant with meals for 1000 yen or less in Kawagoe city. This restaurant, Okanoya, has a couple of meals that are just under 1000 yen and a couple that are just over 1000 yen. I got the Katsudon pictured, which was 970 yen and was very good. It is an old school, no frills, no fuss restaurant on the outer road of the Penny Candy Alley. They have tables and chairs as well as tatami mat and low tables. There is just one toilet and its a squatter! Most important: they only accept cash payments.
