Avoid at Late Night

Shibuya isn’t a great place to hang about as people tend to get rowdy past 8pm. This particular branch seems to be popular with the younger crowd at night and while they aren’t exactly wild, they don’t bring a positive energy to the place. The kushikatsu is kind of average as well. There wasn’t anything notable with any of the food and it was all kind of standard. Ordering from the smartphone was a plus, but it felt like there were times when our orders were missed. Even upon assuming our orders were received, the service was a bit slow in giving us our food and drink, despite my group being only one of three groups in the establishment at the time. I can imagine the place being a decent spot with fresh, hot food and lively banter during the day, but once the sun goes down it’s quite a difficult place to hang out. That is unless you’re visiting the area and want to see the local twenty-somethings in their natural habitat.
