South Indian style eats

Nefaara is an Indian restaurant in Niigata City's Nishikan Ward, and they specialize in South Indian-style fare. They have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options, so it's a good spot to check out if you have carnivores and herbivores in your dining group! They have a really good vegetarian set meal for 1300 yen and it comes with a bunch of dishes including sambar (a veggie-based lentil stew), rasam (a spicy soup), chutney, rice, pappadums, pickles, and some other side dishes. It's a ton of food and everything is super flavorful. Because this is South Indian fare they have pappadums instead of naan, so just keep that in mind :)
