Food court made special by Panda Express

Normally, a shopping mall food court is simply a source of affordable, delectable meals for mall goers. In a sense, it is a fast food shop. You get a table, order your food at your stall of choice, pay for your order, eat, then go. Unless you are a very young child, food courts don't really give excitement, right? If so, then pardon me for being too shallow for comfort and having gotten excited over the food court at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza mall. I could only offer two reason for that kid-like joy: 1. Of all the food courts I have been to - and I've been to a lot in and out of Japan - I've never seen a conveyor sushi shop amongst the stalls. 2. Panda Express - Carbonated drinks that you rarely find in supermarkets like 7-Up and Mountain Dew. That big plate of Chow Mein with Fried Rice, and your choice of 2-3 main courses, including their famous Orange chicken. Enough said. And for those reasons stated above, this food court is definitely worth a visit or revisit. If only I live close by.
