The Fuji Ice Shop in Ueda specializes in jimanyaki, or what is known in other parts of Japan as obanyaki. They are basically like a taiyaki outer dough but in a circular-shape, filled with either red bean paste or custard. Really nice and warming when the weather is cold out, and the price is super reasonable at only 100 yen! Because of the price and the deliciousness they're always quite busy, but the jimanyaki are produced quickly so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
