Amazake Chaya Isshinan

For a refreshing break

Kawagoe has many, hundreds of, places for a quick refreshing drink or snack. The nice thing about Amazake Chaya Isshinan is that it is located in the precincts of Naritasan temple. There are only about six seats inside, but there is red cloth benches outside, which is a lovely place to sit up and soak up the atmosphere. They sell alcoholic drinks, but I got a hot cocoa drink, which did a great job of warming me up on a winter's day.
