Simple goodness

An udon restaurant that has been in the old town a long time. I have had a sit down meal here and have also gotten ice-cream here and eaten it in the little garden at the side of the building. I don't normally order noodles when out and about (because it takes me ages to eat them!) but I make an exception for here. The restaurant is up a quaint alley, called "Happy Street"! (On the right in this photo, the entrance is beside the statue). The meals are presented beautifully on black lacquer trays. Not only do they have an English menu, the menu details what is in the dish.
