Ooka Citizen Activity Center

Picturesque community center

Ooka Citizen center is a type of community center in the hills of Higashimatsuyama. It isn't open very open, but you can walk around the grounds even when it is not open. People come to take photos mainly due to the unusual (for Japan) architecture and the windmill. The center normally hosts a few festivals and / or markets during the year, but this year due to Coronavirus it seems to be closed temporarily. They have grown flowers in the past too, but again this year they seem to have temporarily ceased. Normally the chrysanthemum are beautiful in Autumn, but they may not grow them this year. There is parking for about 40 cars. There are toilets, but I don't know if they open when the center is closed. There is a vending machine on the grounds.
