Beautiful Arita Porcelain in the Ebisu/Hiroo area

I fell in love with Arita porcelain when I visited the region last year, so I was really excited to find this spot in the heart of Tokyo. Aritayaki Yakimono Ichiba sells a range of different Arita porcelain pieces, from coffee mugs, vases, chopstick rests and more. The proprietor of the store hails from Arita, so there's a direct passion and interest that comes from him. He encouraged us to take lots of photos at the store - there's actually signage all over the place that says photos are okay, which is nice considering some other stores are very anti-photo! Prices vary depending on the type of item you choose, but there's really something for everyone's budget. They accept major credit cards, and if you are traveling they offer postage back home via Japan Post EMS so you don't have to lug your purchases around with you.
